TikTok follower growth rate calculator

Daily, weekly and monthly growth from two follower counts.

Quick answer

Growth rate = (followers now − followers then) ÷ followers then × 100. Going from 8,000 to 10,500 in 30 days is 31.3%, about 0.9% a day.

TikTok Analytics shows 7, 28 or 60 days.

Projections assume the same rate continues. Growth usually slows as an account gets bigger.

How follower growth rate is calculated

  • Total growth

(followers now − followers then) ÷ followers then × 100

The simple percentage change over the whole period.

  • Daily, weekly and monthly rate

    daily = (now ÷ then)^(1 ÷ days) − 1

A compound rate, like interest. Weekly and monthly rates come from the daily rate, so you can compare periods of different length.

  • Average followers per day

    (now − then) ÷ days

The plain average. Use it with the milestone calculator to see when you hit the next goal.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good follower growth rate on TikTok?

For small accounts, 10% a month or more is strong. Large accounts often grow 1–5% a month, because each percent is many more people.

Why is the monthly rate higher than total growth ÷ months?

Because growth compounds. Each day’s gain is added to the base for the next day.

Where do I find my old follower count?

TikTok Analytics shows net follower change for the last 7, 28 or 60 days. Subtract it from today’s count.
