Frequently asked questions
How do I find the cubic feet of a unit?
Multiply the packed length, width and height in inches, then divide by 1,728. A 10 × 8 × 3 in box is 0.14 ft³.
When is the aged inventory surcharge charged?
Amazon assesses it monthly, around the 15th, on units that have been in its warehouses for more than 180 days.
Why are Q4 storage fees so high?
From October to December, standard-size storage costs MX$48.00 per ft³, about 3× the January–September rate, because warehouse space is in demand.
How can I avoid aged inventory fees?
Send smaller batches more often, run deals or coupons on slow sellers, and create removal or liquidation orders before units pass 270 days.
