How the winner is picked

  • Clean the list

    Each line becomes one entry. The username is the first word (with or without @); the rest is the comment. Lines without a keyword match are dropped if you set one.

  • Shuffle fairly

    order = hash(all entries + draw number + line)

    Every entry gets a score from a hash of the whole list and the draw number, then the lowest scores win. No entry is favored by its position.

  • Redraw on purpose

    The same list and draw number always give the same winners, so anyone can check. Change the draw number to pick again.

Frequently asked questions

Does TikTok have a built-in giveaway picker?

No. Copy or export the comments, paste them here, and pick winners. Nothing is sent to TikTok.

Can one person win twice?

Not with “One entry per user” on. Turn it off if each comment counts as a separate entry, for example when you allow one entry per friend tagged.

How do I prove the draw was fair?

Share the comment list and the draw number. Anyone who pastes the same list with the same number gets the same winners.

What rules apply to TikTok giveaways?
